This is how our house is decorated with hundreds of lamps on Karthika Pooja. The Whole house is decorated with Deepams after the pooja is conducted. On this day a month long tradition of lighting Deepams in front of the house will end. Right from the day of Diwali the lamps are lighted everyday evening and Bhagavadgeetha is read and prasadam is distributed to the devotees. The last monday of Karthika Masa this tradition will come to a formal end.
