Tulsi Pooja Rangoli


Tulsi Pooja is a grand function celebrated in the uttana dwadashi. It falls in the month of Karthika. That is in the month starting from Diwali. It’s a marriage of Tulsi to Vishnu. It’s more of a Pooja and other devotions performed rather than a celebration in Indian Hindu homes.

Thulasi or Tulsi a sacred plant according to Hindu Religion. You can find these plants grown in front of houses in India. Tulsi plant is considered the most auspicious plant among Indians, Hindus. It’s also proved by scientific research that growing Tulsi in front of house keeps infectionsa and insects out of house. Tulsi is also have high medicinal values which is used in many herbal medicines, skin care and other products.
